Dr. Daher was born in Detroit, Michigan but traveled domestically and abroad with her military family before settling in Annapolis. Her first career was in interior design, during which she designed spaces in the Washington, D.C., area. After losing a favorite pet, she returned to school to become a veterinarian. She joined Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital shortly after completing her studies at Kansas State University in 2001. Her compassion for animals extends to her personal life. Like many animal lovers, Dr. Daher has adopted a number of abandoned pets including Calvin, an American Eskimo dog with heart disease, and Kolu, a three-legged kitten, as well as many others.
