Dr. Hannah Boothe was raised in North Carolina, earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Virginia Tech, and then moved south to Auburn University for her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine 2011-2015. She has always known veterinary medicine was her calling, with a summer internship working with tigers and lions solidifying her decision in this career. She practiced small animal medicine in Georgia and Florida for three years before moving to cooler weather by the Bay. Within veterinary medicine she enjoys dentistry, wound management, and preventative care. Her favorite appointments are those in which she works with owners on education of the best care for their furry family member. She finds time to take veterinary medicine abroad when possible; spending time in Guatemala working at a spay/neuter clinic and Thailand teaching pre-veterinary students.
In her spare time Hannah is an avid runner, having completed multiple half marathons and two full marathons. She also enjoys paddle boarding, reading, yoga/meditation, and spending time with her family. Dr. Boothe is married to another veterinarian and has five animals (a Bichon, an Australian shepherd mix, and three sassy cats) that keep her busy.
