Dr. Genevieve Johnson earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from St. George’s University, Grenada, West Indies in 2022. She underwent her clinical year rotations at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She earned her undergraduate degree in Animal Science with a minor in Equine Science at the Pennsylvania State University in State College, Pennsylvania in 2018. Upon graduating from St. George’s University, she accepted a position with Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital.

In addition to cats and dogs, she has a special interest in exotic pets. Dr. Johnson was born in Annapolis and grew up in Easton, Maryland. She spent many holidays and summers in  Annapolis with family. When Dr. Johnson is not treating her patients, she can be found kayaking, horseback riding, snorkeling, skating, and riding her bike. In addition to her love of the outdoors, Dr. Johnson enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling around the world, volunteering at local animal rescues, and rooting for Penn State Nittany Lions as well as United States Naval Academy Midshipmen. She has several pets of her own including a Cocker Spaniel named Jake; three cats, Smudge, Bernie, and Zeus; and a chinchilla named Mr. Boh.
