Dr. Kelly Anderson

Dr. Anderson grew up in Baltimore, Maryland. She received her bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in 1997. After working as a veterinary technician and research assistant for 2 years, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia–Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine at Virginia Tech in 2003. She was inducted into the National Veterinary Honor Society, Phi Zeta, in her senior year, and was also the recipient of several scholarships throughout her years of veterinary school. After receiving her doctorate, she devoted a year to an internship at Anne Arundel Veterinary Emergency Clinic, and then joined Greater Annapolis Veterinary Hospital in 2004. Her special interests include emergency medicine, internal medicine, and ultrasound.

Dr. Anderson currently resides in Edgewater with her husband, daughter, son and a their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Einstein and two cats named Louie and Linus. She enjoys traveling, SCUBA diving, biking, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
