Dr. Jamey Butala grew up in Latrobe, Pennsylvania. After receiving her undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College, Dr. Butala received her Doctor Of Veterinary Medicine degree from Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 2016. Upon graduation, she stayed in Virginia and practiced in Virginia Beach for 8 years before moving to Maryland. While Dr. Butala enjoys all aspects of preventative care, she is particularly interested in dentistry. Dr. Butala wanted to find another method of helping her patients, so she studied Chinese herbal and food therapy and became acupuncture certified at the Chi University in Florida. 

When Dr. Butala is not treating patients, she can be found reading, watching Grey's Anatomy, or riding her Peloton bike. Dr. Butala resides in Anne Arundel County with her husband, son, daughter, and two cats, Benson and Brooks.
