Dr. Nickerson joined GAVH in 2025 with a deep passion for nuturing the human-animal bond through compassionate, personalized care. She earned her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from St. George's University and attended Clinical year at University of Illinois, where she cultivated special interests in Dermatology, Surgery, Preventative care and Behavior.

Known for her gentle touch and calming presence, Dr. Nickerson is committed to making every visit as stress- free as possible for both pets and their people. She enjoys working closely with families in helping building a healthy bond, and help their pets live their happiest, healthiest lives.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Nickerson can be found swimming, golfing, attending Navy sporting events or spending time with her soon to be husband, Samuel and cute orange cat, Mufasa. Dr. Nickerson looks forward to caring for your pets like family- because they deserve a vet who truly gets tails and whiskers!
